My design education began as an art student with an obsession for architecture. Over ten years ago, I took some time away from an urban studies curriculum of anthropology and architecture history to work for a start-up data and publishing company. Beginning with nightly newsletter production, I worked way may through the newsroom and the marketing department to land in in the team tasks with branding the company from bottom up. So began a design career. Find selections from my design portfolio here.

In 1998, I relocated to California to get my BFA in film, video and performance. My work is part installation, part performative experimentation and part video documentation built on my interest in cultural anthropology and personal geography. I explored repetition, endurance and mark making within specific and controlled time-spaces from real to digitally manipulated. Find selections my video portfolio here.

I’ve been known to read some, think a little and then write about it. Amongst other kinds of writing. Find the, um, full story and a cavalcade of links here.
